Untitled I - WIP II by Avalik Untitled I - WIP II by Avalik
Second WIP, present for a one-to-one worker, Jennifer Sears... critiques encouraged. Fixed some of the anatomy errors, worked on the background a bit more, etc. Thank you to ~Karakas and *Dragoness77, who helped with some redlines and advice.

Still have to draw the tail in... and lots of other details. Will move to scraps later.

Acrylics.

This is coming along beautifully
I can't wait for the finished product.

I'll have a go at some constructive critique here.
Perhaps if the subject faced the viewer a little more, so like the previous WIP but not so much. Haha, does that make sense?
But if you wanted to keep her at that angle, I suggest adding a bit more shoulder and neck mass.
I know as you progress you'd probably add definition to muscles and such so i won't mention anything about that, but everything else looks pretty good. :)

You mean the head -- have the head face the viewer more?

Yeah yeah, that's how I originally wanted it... but I'm unsure.

This is coming along very nicely! I just love the texture of the rocks. They have a lovely "jagged" look to them, which I think will contrast nicely with the character once she is finished. :)
